What’s the issue?

Commercial teams are under increasing pressure to perform at a time when they have less resource and more to achieve. The requirement to implement the Category’s longer-term strategy as well as deliver day-to-day trading targets has never been greater.

What we do

Our work in Commercial typically covers one or more of the following:

  • Strategy: Category strategic reviews analysing the key customer, market, competitor, supplier and economic dynamics in order to develop a strategy and action plan to deliver short, medium and long-term goals
  • Process: Improvements to key commercial processes such as supplier management, range reviews and promotions to deliver additional value
  • Capability: Development and delivery of training on core commercial capabilities such as Category and Supplier Management
  • Retail insights and introductions: sharing our insights and making relevant introductions for UK/overseas suppliers and businesses looking to partner with UK/ European retailers
